Hi! I so very much wish that I could just sit down with you and hear all about you over coffee. And maybe one day that will happen, but until then, here’s a little bit about me.
I'm 23 years old, and I have a big love for Jesus, people, the mountains, and anything that encompasses the word adventure. I like to hike and swim and read good books in the sunshine and I have always had a love of creating. Whether that be music, jewelry, clothing, or decor, my mind never seems to want to sit still. My family and friends are the best - they love and encourage me so well and I'm constantly being shown how important community is.
I didn't understand the gospel or experience the redemption of Christ until I was 20 years old and a junior in college - this was after a series of bad choices that left me broken and bitter. The day my life changed was when I realized that Jesus saw all my filth, all my sin, all my shortcomings, and all my insecurities yet still looked me right in the eyes and said, “I love you and I’m not going anywhere.” The best part about being a Christian is that I don’t have to have it all together because I’m loved and pursued by a God who does.
The Lord is continuously working in my life and reminding me of the great need I have for His grace every moment of every day. I am on a really sweet journey right now of seeking His will for my life, and I would love for you to be a part of it. I’m so thankful that you’ve stopped by, and my hope is that you will be uplifted, encouraged, and challenged by my stories. I mess up a lot, I do things wrong, I make mistakes, yet God is glorified throughout it all. Beauty in the breakdown, people.
You are loved.

"Lord, High and Holy
meek and lowly, thou has brought me to the valley of vision,
where I live in the depths but see thee in the heights;
hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold thy glory.
Let me learn by paradox
that the way down is the way up
that to be low is to be high
that the broken heart is the healed heart
that the contrite spirit is the rejoicing spirit
that the repenting soul is the victorious soul
that to have nothing is to possess all
that to bear the cross is to wear the crown
that to give is to receive
that the valley is the place of vision
Lord, in the daytime stars can be seen from deepest wells,
and the deeper the wells the brighter thy stars shine;
Let me find thy light in my darkness,
thy life in my death
thy joy in my sorrow
thy riches in my poverty
thy glory in my valley. "
